We are the Twelves. Our hometown pride is unmatched. We should have a stake in our team’s future–not just as fans, but as co-owners.

True, the NFL changed the rules to ban public ownership of teams in 1960. They also changed the rules two years ago, and they can change the rules again.

Ms. Allen has been an outstanding steward as team owner, and we hope she will agree, where there’s a will there’s a way to share that stewardship with the people who watch every game, make the stadium quake with our cheers, and sport the Seahawks colors. Why should our team’s fate be determined by an unaccountable billionaire when they could belong to all of us?
